Below you will find other things to do and see on your own in Puerto Vallarta...

The Canopy Tour is an exciting ECO adventure. Zipping from tree to tree, explore the indigenous jungle ¨canopy¨ over the breath taking Orquidias River. The tour offers a total of 13 cables and the longest is 350 meters. Traveling along at 30 mph, take in the wonderful sights and sounds of Mexico's magnificent environment.
The first cable,¨ the launching point¨ from the spiral staircase, is a practice run and designed to inspire confidence. The guides put you at ease and soon any fear of heights you may have melts into the beauty of your surroundings. The cables are designed to gradually take you higher and faster. The final cable shoots you right over the rapids where you arrive at our traditional Mexican palapa. (thatched roofed bar).

The Bay of Banderas is where the Pacific has taken a 500 sq. mile bite out of the land and just 20 miles out is the deep Pacific Ocean - where the Marlin, Sailfish, and Tuna await. Fully equipped sport fishing boats that will take you there in comfort and an experienced crew that will help you land that big one!

Puerto Vallarta’s hillsides and valleys have been explored by horseback for centuries. Today, bilingual guides take visitors across rivers and through sleepy villages into the jungle on horseback to experience and learn the history of the area.

Get off the beaten track and discover the Mexico that few know exists. Rent a jeep on your own and head out beyond Puerto Vallarta to see what you see. Or join off-road tours and a caravan of explorers led by an ecologically trained guide. Traverse mountain streams and past forgotten villages to the heart of the Sierra with no fear of getting lost!

Jet skis can be rented on most beaches by the half or full hour. These state-of-the-art machines carry one or two passengers as well as the driver.

Kayaks can be rented at several beaches in the area. This sport is an enjoyable experience for all skill levels. Dolphins, mantas, turtles and seabirds keep you company as you glide alone or with a partner on the bay, rivers and estuaries.

Float above the blue waters and sandy beaches. As you glide through the air, hold on to your camera. You won’t want to forget the views during this exhilarating experience! Nearly every beach in the area offers parasailing.

Most tourists and many Mexicans, never see the real Mexico. The real Mexico starts at the Sierra Madre mountains where tumbling rivers have cut deep canyons into the rock. Here the jungle vibrates with life and color; and "19th century villages" lie beyond the forest. Accompanied by knowledgeable, experienced, bilingual guides, we take you there in Mercedes, all-terrain vehicles, designed to handle the real thing.

Puerto Vallarta offers great surfing opportunities, with the best waves breaking on the North Shore.
Banderas Bay is an exellent location to learn to surf. On a long or short board, all levels can learn to surf these tranquil waves.

The dolphin experience begins with an educational presentation that will give you a deeper understanding of the dolphins' physiology, environment and the training techniques used to communicate with these amazing animals.
Following the orientation, small groups of guests begin their thrilling in-water dolphin experience. As you become acquainted with our dolphins through hugs, kisses and rubdowns, you will notice that the dolphins enjoy interacting with you. Then, taking the relationship one step further, you can swim and play with your dolphin... maybe even take an exciting belly ride or dorsal tow!
