About our Faculty Through the years we have developed a CRNA faculty that is dedicated to sharing knowledge directly pertaining to the challenges facing nurse anesthesia practice today. About the Accommodations As you peruse our website, you will realize rather quickly that the destinations we choose are very special. The symposiums are held in resorts or hotels renown for being the “best” in the area. Each destination and facility is special and offers a unique ambience. The hosting properties provide negotiated rates that vary from a 10% to 50% discount. Early reservations are strongly recommended based on the strategic location, season, or their claim to fame. Accreditation Encore Symposiums presents programs that have prior approval by the Continuing Educational Committee of the AANA (American Association of Nurse Anesthetists). As the accreditation process is completed, the information is posted on the website. All seminars are submitted for approval of 20 CE Credits. In accordance with the AANA, Encore Symposiums submits the AANA Attendance Record to the AANA within 30 days following the symposium and provides a Certificate of Attendance at the conclusion of each symposium. As a courtesy to our participants, the AANA Attendance Records are immediately submitted to the AANA immediately following each program. This is especially valuable to those attending symposiums held near to the license renewal deadlines (June/July). Since 1983, all records related to each Encore Symposium are permanently kept on file and are easily accessible if needed. In the event a participant is challenged with verification of attendance or needs reprints of such materials, they are immediately available upon request. About our Cancellation & Refund Policy Have a change of plans... Family emergency? There are NO CANCELLATION FEES if cancellation is received more than 60 days prior to the date of the symposium. Notification of a need to cancel received less than 60 days prior to the symposium is subject to a $50 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cancellation received 30 days or less prior to the symposium; however, full credit will be applied to an upcoming Encore Symposium of your choice. In the event Encore Symposiums finds it necessary to cancel the program due to low registration, our liability is limited to a full refund of your paid tuition. Since 1983 the need to cancel an event has occurred only once due to extremely low registration. Unlike our competitors, Encore Symposiums does not consider it ethical or good business to cancel a program based on a non-profitable situation. Encore Symposiums reserves the right to determine the cancellation of any program due to acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, or other emergencies making it illegal or unsafe to hold the program at the designated facility; whereby its liability shall be limited to a tuition credit applicable towards another Encore Symposium of the attendees choice. About our Mailing List Encore Symposiums does not do bulk mailing. The reduction in mailing costs has allowed us to improve our programs to benefit the participants attending the symposium, not on advertising.
