Great resort in the desert!
August 2, 2007: A Trip Advisor Member, Phoenix
We wanted a place to stay and hang out with some friends visiting
from out of town. The resort was perfect for people who have never
seen the desert. It has a terrific little nature path to a waterfall.
They were very kid friendly as we had 3 two year olds and a newborn
in our party.

Great Stay in Tucson!

I loved my stay at the Loews in Tucson. The landscaping and amenities
are fabulous. The room was spacious and immaculate. The bathroom
was incredible -- a person could stay all day in the vast shower
/ tub. I honestly could not have asked for more.

Our new favorite!

We just returned from visiting the Loews at Ventana Canyon. Simply
put, this was one of the two best resorts we have visited . . .
ever. We travel often, about 10 times a year. As usual we made this
trip with our two teenage daughters. So . . . we're not easily impressed
and a hotel or resort has to satisfy two adults and two teenagers
in order to please us. That's not easy. This place was remarkable.
The hotel sits directly at the base of a beautiful mountain on the
edge of the desert. It was built as America's first "green
hotel" so they made a major effort to blend the property into
the surrounding environment. If you want to see a city skyline outside
your window . . . this isn't for you. If you want to see amazing
desert and mountain landscapes, the kind you see in the movies,
they're all around you.
