Alex McMullen has practiced in the law for over seventeen years, holding licensure in Maryland and Pennsylvania. He is senior counsel with the law firm of McMullen & Drury, P.A., principally located in Towson, Maryland. His degrees in Law and Business Administration were from the University of Baltimore and Nursing from the University of Maryland. Prior to pursuing law, Mr. McMullen practiced nursing at Ban Vinai Refugee Camp under the U.N. banner in Thailand with World Vision, International.

Mr. McMullen's legal career is devoted to medical malpractice (plaintiff and defense representation), estate planning and administration and some bankruptcy representation. He has taught business law to hundreds of students in the Maryland University System since 1989. Mr. McMullen wrote a monthly article in "Construction Today," an industry magazine and has co-authored nursing textbook chapters on legal issues.

One of Mr. McMullen's goals in life is to make the law understood by non-attorneys in plain English. He also remains accessible after seminars to students of Encore Symposiums regarding legal issues effecting their lives. Mr. McMullen resides north of Baltimore, Maryland with his wife, four children, cockatiels and rabbit.
