Jayne Andrews, CRNA, MN

Jayne Andrews has been a member of the Encore Symposiums faculty since 1999, and loves the unique venues that Nancy chooses for her symposia. Jayne is also a speaker for Baxter Pharmaceuticals.

Jayne graduated from nursing school in 1985, and worked in critical care and the operating room while obtaining her BSN with a minor in chemistry from Georgia College and State University. She was a member of the first class at Medical College of Georgia that began in 1995, and actually the very first graduate of that program (it helps when your last name begins with A). Since her graduation, Jayne has worked both in a physician-led practice, as a solo practitioner, and in a variety of locums tenems opportunities. She is currently holds a position as staff anesthetist at BJC Medical Center in Commerce, GA.

Jayne has long been interested in the science of anesthesia - how to make ourselves better at what we do, and how to educate ourselves on the business of anesthesia. Special areas of interest include airway issues, inhalational agents, and the "money side" of anesthesia. She feels that the more information we have and utilize, the better for our patients and profession.
