Cameron V. Durden, CRNA, MN

Cameron Durden is a new member of the Encore Symposiums faculty and is also a recent CRNA graduate. Cameron received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University and worked as an R.N. in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA. He received his Master of Nursing in Nurse Anesthesia from the Medical College of Georgia in December of 2005. Cameron was active in both state and national organizations and served as the student representative to the Georgia Association of Nurse Anesthetists Board of Directors. He was also awarded the Directors Award from the Medical College of Georgia Nursing Anesthesia Program for his "excellence in clinical practice, contribution to the nurse anesthesia profession, and dedication to the people of Georgia".

Cameron works as a staff nurse anesthetist at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA and serves as the clinical coordinator for student nurse anesthetists from the Medical College of Georgia and the Medical University of South Carolina. He is also the founder and president of Coastal Empire Anesthesia, LLC a contract anesthesia service company. Cameron enjoys spending time with his wife and friends. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, boating, playing tennis, and traveling.
