Adirondack
Adventures: ALERT! The planned adventures for this symposium
are filling up quickly! All activities have a maximum limit. Reservations
will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Deadline
for submitting your reservation form is this Saturday, September
24. Planned group activities are: Fishing on Lake George,
Golf Tournament, Horseback Riding, Hiking up Deer Leap on Tongue
Mountain, Wine Tasting Demo, Sailing School, Group Cook-off/Iron
Chef Competition, Morgan Sunset Cruise and Horseback Riding. For
pricing and descriptions visit the Adirondack
Adventures page. IMPORTANT: Due to fall foliage, there will
be many visitors in the area. Expect reserving spa treatments, independent
horseback riding, golf tee times, and boating opportunities to be
difficult or impossible upon arrival. Encore has tee times reserved

on Wednesday.

In the 1990's Drs. Gerard Rudy and Norvelle Goff-Rudy became the
joint directors of the Ahuas Clinic with its triple emphasis of
preventive medicine, curative and surgical care, and spiritual guidance.
The medical program of the Moravian Church in Honduras is guided
by a board of directors elected by the Synod of the Moravian Church
in Honduras. Dr. Norvelle Goff, a Miskitu native of La Mosquitia,
is the director of the Medical Program which includes a hospital
in Ahuas, a clinic in Cauquira, public health programs directed
from those two sites and medical dispensaries Ocotales and San Jose
de la Punta, Colon. Gerard is medical director of the hospital in
Ahuas.
