Encore Symposiums Update on Covid-19

Proactive Measures for Fall Conferences!

Encore plans to host all fall conferences unless conditions prohibit an in-person conference. Either way, we have you covered! Encore's fall meetings will be offered simultaneously as a Live Virtual Conference, accessible in the classroom, hotel room, or your home. Extra measures will be taken for those who gather in the conference area. The recommended 6-foot, social distancing will be in place. Each attendee will receive a disposable face mask, hand sanitizer, and bottled water daily. Food stations will have protective shields, and food will be served to each attendee. Each hotel/resort has implemented enhanced sanitation protocols throughout the property to meet the CDC and state department guidelines.

NBCRNA Core Modules and CPC Examination

Making it easier for you...

Encore is proactive in preparing CRNAs for the Core Modules and the future CPC Examination.

• Each Encore Symposium Program Schedule indicates the relevance of each topic to the NBCRNA Modules, the future CPC Examination, and credits applicable for APRN renewal such as Pharmacology, Legal Issues, HIV/AIDS and Lyme Disease.
• Each Encore Symposium has a scheduled NBCRNA/CPC Update presented by an NBCRNA representative.
• Each 2017 Encore Symposium through October 2017, has been Prior-Approved by the AANA for Class A CE Credits.

Introducing SRNA Tuition Discounts

In support of SRNAs entering the worthy field of nurse anesthesia, Encore Symposiums is offering heavily discounted rates to anesthesia students at upcoming Encore Symposiums beginning this fall!

We are looking forward to better assisting our future anesthetists in their educational endeavors! Encore is now accepting a limited amount of students at the discounted rate of $400. The number of students accepted at each symposium will be based on meeting space availability.

Crediting Trend Update: Aligning with NBCRNA Core Module

As announced previously, Encore Symposiums has been working diligently to align their programs with NBCRNA requirements. Encore is excited to announce that all topics in 2016 programs have been coded to designate their alignment with the NBCRNA Core Module Domains.

You may download any program brochure from our website and reference each topic as they relate to the four domains; the domains include airway, pharmacology, physiology and pathophysiology and anesthesia equipment and technology.

Topics that pertain to legal issues and HIV/AIDS are also designated as outlined by the AANA. All 2016 programs have been prior approved by the AANA for Class A CE credits.
