Cape Neddick/Ogunquit
Cape Neddick is a peninsula in the town of York, Maine which consists of two beaches located on both sides of Cape Neddick. Ogunquit, a beautiful northern seaside village, lies two miles north of the resort and historical York is just south.
Ogunquit offers a three-mile stretch of white sandy beach, the Marginal Way cliff walk, a 1 ¼ footpath along the ocean’s edge, and the quaint harbor of Perkin’s Cove. Ogunquit and Perkins Cove provide boutique shopping, local fresh seafood dining, and the world-class theatre, Ogunquit Playhouse. The Ogunquit Playhouse has an 86-year legacy of creating top-notch productions complete with professional casts and creative teams, and stars of screen and stage, hand-picked for each production.
Nearby, is Maine's first resort destination, Kennebunkport, a scenic coastal town in southern Maine. It’s known for its beaches, including long, sandy Goose Rocks Beach and smaller Arundel Beach, shopping, real estate, dining, antiques, galleries, and the picturesque Bush Compound.
While in Maine, venture out onto meandering Route 103, a jig-jagging 10-mile highway from York to Kittery. Hop off the busy highway, slow down, and enjoy this serendipitous seacoast journey. The coast-hugging, winding backroad is a gem, leading to two historic sites, pocket beaches, and water views.
Secure your reservations as soon as possible. This is peak season in New England and all accommodations will sell out quickly!
The Cliff House reemerges as one of the most captivating waterfront destinations of its kind following a landmark transformation.
